Rosie Vase

One of a kind vase hand built from clay slabs. Sculpted elements added and then the piece is Bisque fired, coated with black underglaze, washed so the underglaze brings out the details. The piece is then coated with clear glaze on the interior and fired to cone 6. After the glaze firing the piece is painted with watercolors and sprayed with a paint fixative. Not dishwasher safe but fully functional as a vase.

Rosie is ready to dance the night away. She has taken a break from flirting with the lovely gentleman at the bar and is on the way to the powder room to fix her makeup. Rosie comes with a spot to place a flower or feather in her headband.
